Barn Deconstructed

Whereas "Laguna Poster" is a painting that looks like a collage (but isn't), "Barn Deconstructed" is an actual collage. It was made from several studies I did of the details found in an old barn. In the upper right hand corner is a painting of a barn on the Laguna property. Then I did seperate watercolor sketches of the parts of the barn I particularily liked: the door; roofing material; and trailer. Some of these later became full size paintings: the entryway and white fence ("Beauty Steps In").
